This is my second post today and this project is also for a challenge - the Inky Chics Bingo Challenge. Here is the bingo card we had to use and I went diagonal and chose Die Cuts, Image and Flowers.

Last year, my daughter was enthralled by the Hunger Games trilogy and we just HAD to go see the movie when it came out. The subject matter was a little dark but it opened up a wonderful dialogue. When this Princess Honor digital image from the Saturated Canary came out, I immediately thought of Katniss, the heroine from the Hunger Games, who was amazing with a bow and arrow. I had planned to enter this into the Movie Challenge on the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog but somehow missed the deadline. No worries, I am just going to enter it into the Bingo Challenge instead.

I used the image to create a wall hanging for my daughter's "hang out" room. I printed it onto cardstock, colored it with my copics and then cut it out with one of the Grand Circle Nestabilities dies. I also cut a piece of a cereal box with the one of the Grand Labels 1 dies and covered both sides with cardstock and patterned paper and then adhered my image on top. I added some flowers from my stash and some dew drops.  I love the way this turned out and more important, so does my daughter so it's a winner in my book.

One other item of interest, I am doing a small giveaway and you can find the details HERE if you're interested. Have a wonderful weekend!

ETA: I'm entering this into the Anything Goes Challenge at Oozak.
