What's in a Name?

This is a word book I created for a little girl at the request of her parents. It's part of a birthday party I am doing this afternoon for 10 girls. Each of the girls will fill out a compliment card that will be incorporated into the word book. The birthday girl likes the brown and blue color combo which I have carried throughout and once I have received some pictures, I will complete the layouts and add embellishments but I wanted to have a base to present this afternoon.

I used my Cricut and the Plantain Schoolbook cart to cut the book. The papers are mainly Heidi Grace and various others from AC Moore. Below are a couple of the pages.

Halloween Treats

My daughter's 4th Annual Halloween Costume party is tomorrow and I made these little favors. I used my cricut to cut the base CS, the spider and the spider web. I added pom poms and google eyes to complete the spider and filled the bags with mini M&Ms.

Altered Composition Book

I was strolling through Costco and saw a pack of these composition books so I decided to try my hand at altering. This one uses some of the remnants from my Silhouette Box. I used the Cricut to cut the letters (Alphalicious cart).

Beach Word Book

Here is my first attempt at a word book using my Cricut and this wonderful paper from Close to My Heart. The name of the paper kit is More to Adore. I just "adore" the pink and brown combination!

Cheetah Girls Birthday Party

In keeping with the cheetah theme, I created these gift bags for the girls using the popcorn box feature of the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cart for the Cricut. I found several Cheetah Girl items and added some other spa-type goodies. Each girl also made their version of the frame as a take-home craft project. We used modge podge to adhere the cheetah tissue paper and embellishments to the frames. The paper embellishments were also created using the cricut. Each girl also got a group picture as a memory of the party.
