Make a Wish - Sugar Sketch 21

It's time for a new sketch at SugarPea Designs and I hope you'll join us.

For my card, I stamped my image with Versamark and used fine gold embossing powder on the fairy image from Fairy Sweet and then cut her out using a circle die. I used flower stickers in the corners and border stickers for my banners. I added a little bling to the corners as well. I also sponged all the edges of my papers and cardstock with gold ink.

Now it's your turn. You can play along with any stamp you like - but if you use SugarPea Designs, we'll top your voucher up to $15!

Feel free to rotate/flip the sketch, or exchange any shapes for what works with your design, just make sure the sketch is recognizable!

Giving Away....

A couple of weeks ago, my daughter and I attended the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Lancaster, PA. We go every year for a girls weekend with a couple of friends and always have a good time taking classes, doing the make and takes and meeting new and interesting people.

One of the welcome gifts was this Party Pennant kit from Stampin' Up that includes two mini ink pads, three small rubber stamps and die cuts to create a couple of banners. My daughter and I each received a kit and my daughter said she did not want hers and that I could give it away on my blog, so that's exactly what I will do. MIA

I know I have been missing in action this week and there is a good reason. This was the first full week with my daughter home on Summer break and it has been very busy. We had movies to see, shopping to do, gigs to get her to, crafts to complete. You get the idea. And this was just the first week!

I did manage to find some time to craft and I will have some projects to show you this coming week so hang in there. I just have to get the pics taken with a real camera (not just my iPhone) and do the write-ups. In the meantime, if you ever want to see what's going on the studio, you can always catch me on my Facebook Page or Instagram. I tend to post my sneak peeks there before the completed projects make it to the blog. In the meantime, enjoy your weekend!
