Flower Soft/Penny Black Blog Hop

Today, the Flower Soft and Penny Black Design Teams are ringing in the New Year with a special blog hop featuring artwork using Penny Black stamps and Flower Soft. For my project, I used the adorable Mimi in Paris stamp set from Penny Black to create a Valentine card. Isn’t she just so cute? I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored her with copics. I used an oval nestabilities to cut out the image and then matted with Penny Black cardstock cut using the largest of the Beaded Oval dies. I added glitter to her wings and then used Neon Pink Ultra Fine Flower Soft for the flower in her hair and also for the little heart I cut out with a Martha Stewart punch.

The cardstock base is also from Penny Black and is wonderful to work with. One side has a color and the other is white so it’s perfect for cardmaking.
