Happy New Year everyone and welcome to the first Flower Soft Blog Hop of 2011! I really think you're going to "love" it because this week's Flower Soft Sprinkle Challenge theme is all about LOVE. I hope you'll join me and the rest of the Design Team over at SCS. To play along, simply create some artwork using at least one Flower Soft product (Flower Soft, toppers, stamps) and upload your project to the SCS gallery using the keyword FSC19 and flowersoft (one word). Entries will be accepted for the challenge until 6:00am CT on January 14th. The SCS winner’s card will be featured on the Flower Soft blog on January 14th!
As usual, there are prizes involved. The prize this week – New Flower Soft colors! Meadow, Peony Pink and Marigold. Aren't they gorgeous! I can't wait to get my hands on these colors.

I went for a CAS (clean and simple) design for my card this week and was able to use some scraps I had left over from Christmas. To make the focal point, I simply punched the hearts with a Martha Stewart punch into a 3"x3" piece of white cardstock and then mounted it onto a piece of colorful scrap cardstock using foam tape. I then adhered the whole thing onto a piece of Pure Poppy cardstock.
I punched out a heart from some scrap Pure Poppy and covered it with flower soft glue and then sprinkled Ultra Fine Strawberry Flower Soft and some Prisma glitter on top to create my "fluffy" heart and attached it with a glue dot. The sentiment is from PTI's 2010 Love Tags.

ReplyDeleteGreat CAS card!!
ReplyDeleteSimple, but stunning...lovely card
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that you used flower soft in a CAS creation! I have to admit, it's a product I don't use because I associate it with layer-licious designs. I like layer-licious designs, just can't make them! LOL! This is an outstanding card :)
