Things were so crazy around here I didn't get a chance to show you what my daughter handed out to her classmates this year for Christmas. Last year she handed out candy canes and she didn't want to do the same thing and besides, as homeroom mom I was handing out snowman soup which contains a candy cane so we decided on these little goodies. She picked the design and I put them together.
I got the template from Splitcoast HERE and modified the dimensions to suit my needs. Inside were a couple Hershey's Hugs and a Cookies and Cream Santa (my daughter filled each bag). I used CTMH Mistletoe B&T paper for the outside and the beauty of this paper is that it is double sided so this paper created both the red and the green you see. The base cardstock was either New England Ivy or Cranberry, depending on which side I used.
I then stamped the image from PTI's 2008 Holiday Tag stamp set and puched it out with a 1 3/4" circle punch and had my daughter write out the name of her classmates on each one. I added either a silver or gold curling ribbon and then I was done. These were very simple to make and the kids loved them.
How lovely!! These are very pretty and very thoughtful - how kind of your DD to treat the entire class!
