I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I did. My DH was off from work and my daughter was home from school so we got to spend a lot of quality time together. We saw a couple of movies, started building a roller coaster with Kinex (still working on that one) and we even went ice skating and believe it or not, I don't have any broken bones. Just a couple of bruises and a sore bum.
Sadly, they are both off to work and school, respectively and it's really quiet here. But the good news is I get to do what I love again. So here, for your consideration, is my submission for this week's Mojo Monday. I used the new Veranda papers from CTMH as well as the new stamp set that comes with the Workshop on the Go.
The vine was done using a technique called second generation stamping in Juniper ink and then I stamped the sentiment in Cocoa ink ontop. I used my Sakura glitter gel pen on the bird and in real life, it is very sparkly. I used a pearl for the eye. The border punch is a new one from EK success and the circle and scallop circle were cut using nestabilities.
I'm off to organize and get the house back in order.
Absolutely breathtaking!
