It's time for another Anything Goes Challenge over at The Stamping Chef. Did you know there is also a TSC Facebook Group? You can post your projects there and also be first to know about specials, promotions and freebies. It's a great place to share your art and get tips.
This week I have a fun project for you. I used the Broken Doll digi set which contains a number of files including the background and lace, dandelion and bird elements along with the doll digi.
I opened the background in Photoshop and added the elements. I made a reverse image of the bird and stretched and distorted the dandelion image and placed it in several different spots. I then added the image of the doll and merged and flattened the image and then printed it. I added the doll because I knew I would want to cut my colored doll out and I wanted to preserve the lines on the background. I then printed the doll on white cardstock and colored her with copics and cut her out.
I added a little glitter to her belt and shoes and then went over those areas and her lips with a Sakura clear glaze pen for shine and texture. I added a little red under her eyes with some water and a gelato stick. I used the sentiment from the digi set and added some more text and then used a Spellbinders die to cut it out but before I removed it from the die, I colored a portion of the word and then went over the whole thing with some Twinkling H2O. I added some "water drops" with a Perfect Pearls translucent pen and a little red trim to finish off the card.
Now it's your turn. I would love to see what you have cooked up for this week's challenge.
