We are expecting a Nor'easter here tomorrow which means another day off from school for my daughter. I have been doing a lot of errands and getting ready for it but I did find time to make this card. It's for the Tiddly Inks Facebook challenge which was to create a vintage card. The Facebook group is an open group for anyone with a Facebook account. You just need to request to be included. Click

Whenever I think of vintage, my mind always goes to some of my mother's old pictures which are a lovely sepia color now so I went with that palette. I printed the Druscilla digi and colored her in with copics. I added a little glitter to her wings with my Wink of Stella pen, but unfortunately, it isn't showing up in the pictured. I also used my copics to color the petals of the flower. I added some tiny pearls to her hair and one in the center of the flower.
I cut the image with a Spellbinders die and tucked a little lace under it and then mounted it to my card front with dimensional foam.
Since Valentine's Day is Friday, I kept with the theme of love for my sentiment.
I hope everyone stays safe in this rough weather. I don't know about you, but I am definitely ready for warmer weather with less precipitation.
