We recently had some significant snow which gave my daughter an extended weekend. We took the opportunity to get in the studio and create some gelli prints and the base of this tag is one of the backgrounds we created.

Once dry, I stamped the rose flourish image randomly and also stamped my sentiment. I added some White Linen spray ink along the edges and a little over the top of the raised stencil. I also added it to the edges of the red cardstock. I used gel medium to attach the lace heart frame, which I had previously painted with iridescent medium, over my sentiment. I also dabbed some gel medium in random areas to allow me to attach some glass glitter and a couple pieces of chunky glass filler.
Don't forget to leave a comment here and on the other designers' blogs in order to be eligible for the $25 Heartfelt Creations gift certificate. Once again, you have until midnight Friday, January 31, 2014. You're next stop is Amarilys' Blog. You're going to love what she created!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous tag!! You ARE so clever to make your own stencil with the heart... now I will look at my dies in a new light!! Thanks! I've cut my own stencils but they have been from images I print out and trace then hand cut. Love the diamonds of this heart for the texture! Good idea too to mix spray ink directly into the modeling paste. And I love the bits of the chunky glass glitter! Like I said... Gorgeous Tag!
