Flower Soft - Christmas Spirit

Today, I have a cute little Christmas card using some new product from Flower Soft Wine Buffs Collection.  These stamps are a lot of fun.

I stamped Santa and Rudy with my black ink and then colored them in with copic markers.  I added a little Ultra Fine White Flower Soft to Santa's hat and jacket and a little liquid glass to their glasses and Rudolph's nose.

Heartfelt Creations - My Wish

I have a fun card for you today.  I was playing around with some Mr. Huey's mist and watercolor paper and came up with this pretty background.

First I used versamark and stamped the pretty asters from this month's Heartfelt Creations Delicate Asters Collection onto watercolor paper. I used clear embossing powder and heat set the flowers. I then spritz some of the Mr. Huey's onto a craft sheet, diluted it with a little water and then painted it over my embossed images. I added a little diluted distress ink over the whole thing and got this really pretty color.  I kept the rest of the card fairly simple to show off the background.

Flower Soft - Santa Topper Ornament/Tag

This week the Flower Soft Design Team was challenged to think outside the box when using the Flower Soft Toppers.  Since we are fast approaching Christmas (where did the Summer go?), I chose to work with the Santa Topper.

I cut some chipboard with the Spellbinders ornament die and layered cardstock on top with a glue stick. I used an oval nestabilites die to cut the Santa Topper and also to cut one of the ornament die cuts.  I popped up the top layer with some dimensionals.

I added a little Ultra Fine White Flower Soft to Santa's hair and beard and outlined the ornament with a little glitter glue.  For embellishment, I added a tiny jingle bell below my ribbon bow.

My daughter loves this ornament and can't wait to hang it on the tree.

Heartfelt Creations - Especially For You

For my card this week, I used a very "in" shape - the hexagon.  I cut several of them and, using removable adhesive, I arranged them on my craft sheet and then stamped and colored the beautiful image from Delicate Twining Asters.  I then sponged the edges and adhered them to my card but I popped a couple of them up to create some dimension.

I then stamped my sentiment along the right side and added a little bling here and there.

This was a fun card to create and it was pretty quick.  I hope you'll give it a try.

Flower Soft Scrap It Frame It Blog Hop

Today, the Flower Soft Design Team are showcasing a new product called Scrap It Frame It.  Basically, they are frames that can be altered in many ways.  Hopefully, you have seen some of the creative ways the other DT members have worked with these, but if you haven't, be sure to start at the beginning of the hop so you can.  I promise you will not want to miss these.

For my project today, I wanted to showcase some of the patterned paper.  I used it to transform this $1 frame from Michael's into a wonderful home decor piece.  The saying is actually preprinted on one of the sheets and I simply cut it out and placed it into the frame.  I also used some of the patterned paper to create the gorgeous aster in the corner.  The butterfly is also part of the stamp collection.

Flower Soft - MLA Card Creator Blog Hop

Today the Flower Soft Design Team is hopping with some adorable projects!  I have a couple of cards for you using the new Mabel Lucie Attwell Card Creator kit.  This kit comes with images, sentiments and patterned paper...everything you need to create multiple cards quickly.

For my first card, I used the Ivory Spring Flowers Multi Function Die Cut cards as my base and folded it in half.  I added a little patterned paper from the kit to the left side and added a little ribbon.  I popped up the die cut flowers using a stylus and added a little Citrus Ultrafine Flower Soft to the center of the flowers.  I then cut the main image using an oval nestabilities die, matted it with a larger oval and popped it onto the card base using dimensionals.

For my second card, I cut out the image, adhered it to a white mat and then adhered the whole panel to the card base.  I stamped my sentiment from Floral Sentiments #2 and then added some Toffee Ultra Fine Flower Soft to the roof to add texture.

Heartfelt Creations - Pink Pickup Birthday

Happy Wednesday!  It's a short week since we had the Labor Day holiday on Monday and so far so good.  I have a fun little card to share with you today.  Recently, I pinned a picture that became the inspiration for this card.  Here it is:

When I came across this picture, I remembered the Antique Truck stamp set Heartfelt Creations released a couple months ago and a card design popped into my head.  I truly love when I am able to create on paper the vision I saw in my head.

I stamped, colored and die cut the truck with the coordinating die and added some bling to the wheels.  I used the ribbon to mimic the road.  In person, the ribbon is very sparkly.  I sponged a little blue and green on the background oval and created a frame by nesting two nestabilities dies.  I really love how this turned out!
