Heartfelt Creations - Especially For You

It's Wednesday so of course I have another Heartfelt Creations project to share with you.  Be sure to check out the Heartfelt Creations Blog to see what the other designers have for you this week.  They are gorgeous!

For my card this week, I used a very "in" shape - the hexagon.  I cut several of them and, using removable adhesive, I arranged them on my craft sheet and then stamped and colored the beautiful image from Delicate Twining Asters.  I then sponged the edges and adhered them to my card but I popped a couple of them up to create some dimension.

I then stamped my sentiment along the right side and added a little bling here and there.

This was a fun card to create and it was pretty quick.  I hope you'll give it a try.

Products Used:
Paper – Winter Wisteria, SS White
Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black; Tea Dye Duo
Spellbinders Hexagon Nestabilities Flat backed gems
Copic Markers – V12, V15, V17, Y15, Y17, G82, YG63

  1. Very neat concept! Love how it looks like a puzzle!

  2. This is beautiful!! I love the depth that the hexagons give the image - all that shadowing helps, too! Very, very nice! I don't know how you think of these things, Cibele! I would probably have stamped, inked, and then tried to cut them apart. Interesting that your amazing card was made the other way around! Excellent work!

  3. Cibele, this is just WOWSERS!!! So beautiful. Love the way you did the image over the hexagons.

  4. This is a beautiful card Cibelle. I just love it!!

  5. I love the hexagon pattern behind your flower image, Cibele! Beautiful card! :)

  6. Really stunning and creative using the hexagons! Your coloring is gorgeous!

  7. Oh my goodness, I want to use your idea! I am in love with your great card, the lovely colors and the hexagons!

  8. How lovely, Cibele! I am going to do this. I love how you did the hexagons.

Sharing your thoughts makes my day and I appreciate that you take the time to leave me a comment.
