I recently received my Intermediate Copic Certification after taking the class with the über talented Debbie Olson. During the class, we got to see some of her coloring portfolio and in it were a couple of images from the Saturated Canary. Well, now I am hooked and can't stop coloring Krista's images. This image was a freebie that was available for a limited time on her challenge blog and it's perfect for this week's SC challenge, Fairytales.
I first colored this image in a light yellow and it reminded me of Belle from Beauty and the Beast. It was my practice piece. I colored this one while my daughter was having her singing lesson and the lighting left a lot to be desired. I used darker shades, from the YR family, and didn't actually see the true color until I got home but I really liked it. I hope you do too.
