Happy Monday to you! Today I want to share a card I made for the Moxie Fab - Jars of Joy Challenge. There's a lot of eye candy on the blog for inspiration, so I hope you'll play along.
As a child, I liked to collect shells and sand whenever we visited the beach. I used to keep my treasures in a jar in my room. This was my inspiration for this challenge.
I went clean and simple for this card but added some texture with an impression plate and a little Flower Soft. I had these K & Company shells for awhile and thought they would be perfect for my jar. First I cut the pint jar into my panel and then ran it through my cuttlebug with the Linen impression plate. I then added a piece of acrylic behind it to give it that glass look. On another piece of white cardstock, I stamped my image and added my shells and sprinkled my Flower Soft.
This card brings back a lot of happy memories and was fun to make. Thanks to the Moxie Fab World for such a fun challenge!
