Happy Wednesday to you! I hope where you are it's nice and dry. As I write this post, we are preparing for Hurricane Sandy so by the time this post goes live, we may not have any electricity.
My project for this week is a birthday card using the beautiful Heartfelt Creations Vintage Floret patterned paper as my background. I love using the decorated corners of the paper as a backdrop for my sentiment and in this case, for my flower.
Emma Lou did an awesome video on how to shape the flowers and you can find it HERE. I added a little glitter to the ends of my petals and finished off the card with a crystal flourish.
I hope you will check out the Heartfelt Creations Blog to see what the other ladies have for you and you will also be able to get the full instructions for this project and theirs as well.
On another note, I want to send out a big "Heartfelt" thank you to everyone who voted for me to remain on the Heartfelt Creations Design Team. I am happy to report that I have been voted in for another term and I couldn't be happier. I look forward to bringing you many more projects in the coming months using the fabulous stamps and dies from Heartfelt.
Products Used:
Stamp Sets – Open Vintage Floret, Mini Vintage Floret, Bold Vintage Floret Background
Paper – Vintage Floret Paper Collection; Hibiscus Burst and Dark Chocolate
Ink – Memento Espresso Truffle
