Heartfelt Creations - Ornamental Light Collection

Heartfelt Creations is pleased to introduce the Ornamental Light Collection. This collection is a refreshing twist to the traditional Christmas genre. I have two projects for you this week, both of which went to Summer CHA and could be seen in the Heartfelt Creations booth.

The first, is a Christmas tag/ornament.  I cut some chipboard with the largest Heirloom Nestabilities die. I covered the back side with a piece of patterned paper from the newest FrostyBlanket Paper Collection.  On the front, I stamped and colored the image from Holiday Haven.  The little birdhouse and the bird were cut using coordinating dies and popped up using dimensional foam.

I used a gold paint pen along the edges for that holiday gilded look and I added a little Gold Flower Soft to the center of my poinsettia.

This project does double duty as a tag that can then be used as an ornament on your tree.

My second project is a Christmas card which again uses the Frosty Blanket Paper Collection.  This paper is so versatile and creates a lovely background for all your projects.

This time, I used the coordinating dies to make a double lampost which I colored with copic markers.  I stamped the swirl from Holiday Haven in second generation ink and then stamped the sentiment from Yuletide Sentiments in black ink.  I just love that font!
