I just wrapped up one of my card classes for the Summer and this was one of the cards we made. I just love this set from PTI and the matching dies and so did my ladies! Many of them did not know how to use a Stamp-a-majig so I showed them with the watering can. I find that it is easier to stamp exactly where you want on these small dies when I use one.
I stamped the frame image in Black ink and then filled in with the adorable accessory stamps that make this look like a vintage seed packet. I then stamped the grass image in CTMH Garden Green and added the little flowers with CTMH Tulip. I repeated this combo using second generation stamping along the bottom of the inside of the card. I used dimensionals to pop up the watering can and also the matted focal image. All the edges of the white cardstock were inked with PTI Chamomille ink to enhance that vintage feel. For a final touch, I added some Pure Poppy saddle stitch ribbon.
I will miss this group of ladies until I see them in September. They are a pleasure to teach and I learn an awful lot from them as well.
