Yesterday was my dear friend's birthday and she is also a fellow PTI fan so I made her a card using the Anniversary set, Botanical Silhouettes. I absolutely adore this set!

Using the rock-n-roll technique on the poppies, I stamped them using CTMH Orange and Cranberry ink. I then used a copic multiliner pen to add the stamen in the centers and then went over them with my trusty Sakura glitter pen. It added just that little bit of sparkle.

I'm not sure if you can see it in the picture, but I used the PTI Linen impression plate on both the white base and the Cranberry mat.
This is one of those stamp sets that is so versatile. I am sure I will be using it often. (Just a note - this was a limited edition stamp set that was part of PTI's reward program last year so you will not see it listed for sale on the PTI site.)

This is simply beautiful. Your two-tone poppies have so much dimension, especially with the added stamens. Incredible card.
ReplyDeleteA really gorgeous image and your painting of them is pristine! The shading along the bottom is wonderful and the sentiment so fun with this!
