This week's
Flower Soft (FSC28) challenge is to create a frilly and feminine project and I thought what better than to create a Mother's Day card for my Mother-in-Law. She is a wonderful, big hearted and generous woman who has been like a mother to me since the day I met her. She and my mother (who passed 2 years ago) got along like sisters and I have been truly blessed to have her in my life and call her by her many names - friend, mom and Nana. Our relationship is not always a flower garden; we know how to push each other's buttons, but when it comes down to it, we accept and truly love each other - faults and all - unconditionally and to me, that's what family is all about!
For my card, I used the Flower Soft Lavendar Paper Kit which was developed to be used with the Spellbinders Classic Large Scalloped Ovals. The lace is from the $1 bin at AC Moore.
I hope you'll join in the challenge and upload your project to the SCS Gallery. You can get all the details
HERE. There WILL be prizes!
