Flower Soft Mom

This image was created by a very talented woman named Angelique. She has some really adorable images on her blog and I recommend you check it out if you have the time.  You can find her HERE.  I downloaded it awhile ago and I thought it would be perfect as a Mother's Day card.  Aren't the little guys so adorable?  I love that the mom is giving one of kiddies a ride. 

Now for the good stuff.  I made this card for this week's Flower Soft Sprinkle Challenge (FSC26), which is to make a square card using at least one Flower Soft product.  As usual, there will be prizes so I hope you will join us and upload a card to the SCS Gallery.  Be sure to use the keywords flowersoft and FSC26 so I can find your creations!  I get a lot of inspiration from you guys.

This card is also my interpretation of this week's CPS212 Sketch. 

After I printed the image onto Gina K Pure Luxury cardstock, I colored the image with my copic markers and then highlighted certain areas with Flower Soft.  I used Earth Ultra Fine for the cattails and Sage and Pine Ultra Fine for the grass.

The clouds were made using a PTI die. To give them a little texture, I ran them through the cuttlebug using a PTI impression plate before sponging the edges.
