Flower Soft Easter Chick

It's time to dig out your Flower Soft and your favorite furry friend and join in this week's Flower Soft Challenge, aptly named Furry Friends.  You can get all the details HERE but all you have to do is upload a project using at least one Flower Soft product to the SCS Gallery using the keywords FSC25 and flowersoft (one word).  As usual, there are prizes involved!

For inspiration, I created another Easter card using one of the amazing Easter Fun Toppers.  This one is an adorable little chick popping out of an Easter egg.  Isn't he just too cute?  I cut the main image with an oval nestabilities die.  You'lll notice I also used one of the Flower Soft Display Globes.  I found that one of the petite oval nestabilities dies will cut the perfect oval for the globe, which is what I did here.  First I stamped the bottom border with the new PTI Background Basics: Gingham stamp set and then ran the top of the card through the cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder.  I framed the globe with some fun ribbon I found in my stash.  I did add some Ultra Fine Citrus Crush Flower Soft to the center of the flowers as well.

I love the way this came out.  Looks like my daughter will be getting two Easter cards this year.
