This week's Flower Soft Sprinkle Challenge at SCS (FSC15) is Last Minute Holiday Cards and here's mine.
My cut out card was very simple to make and uses two of my favorite dies from PTI - the stocking die and Mat Stack 4 die. It also uses the newest banner die. I simply adhered the patterned paper from Holiday Vintage prints onto a Pure Poppy cardstock base and then ran it through my cuttlebug with the mat stack die to create the cut out. I saved the piece and used it on the inside of my card to mat my stocking.
The pattern in the stocking was made by randomly stamping the small snowflake from the Peace Be Still stamp set and then I used the Tea Dye Duo inks to antique the stocking. I added a little glitter with my Sakura pen and used the Polar White Flower Soft for the stocking cuff.
I also used the Tea Dye Duo inks to sponge the white cardstock for the inside of the card and then stamped a sentiment from Inside & Out: Holiday.
I hope you'll participate in the challenge and upload a card to the SCS gallery using the keyword FSC15. I would love to see what you create!
Join me tomorrow when I'll have another card to show you.
This is so pretty! Victorian, I'd say - very elegant. I love the flower soft on the stocking and the bits of sparkle! The fact that the stocking is recessed (well, actually inside) makes this very special!
ReplyDeleteNice work!
