The Present
If you have been following my blog lately, you know that I recently made some layouts which for me was outside of the box and I was lucky enough to find inspiration in the Close to My Heart how-to books. Often I find inspiration on various blogs for my artwork but I also get a lot of inspiration from my daughter who since she was born, has opened my eyes to many new things.
Recently I attended the Close to My Heart convention in Washington, DC which was a blast and filled with inspiration galore. We got the amazing opportunity to look at and play with some of the new product coming out this Fall and I have to say it's awesome. As a bonus for attending convention we received a lot of product including stamp sets, inks, and embellishments and then we had the opportunity to buy bundles of new product at a discount rate (another perk for attending).
What a great stamp set! I find inspiration in my blog hopping each day. I also like to follow sketch design layout books also. Thanks for the chance. I am also a follower!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful SS! My daily blurfing is probably where I find most of my inspiration. I'm already a follower of your blog and love to see your new creations! :)
ReplyDeleteI am now following your blog, and have it in my reader too!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE to surf blogs and various challenges! I have many of the challenges come to my email (and my reader) so that I can play along. It's fun to think of things differently, and totally be inspired by them, like Brae's challenge this month!
Thanks for the chance to win this stamp! It's totally cute! I wish I could have been at Convention this year!
Looks like a fantastic stamp set! I guess I get inspiration from sketches and then just the colors around me - whether it's inside the house or out. It's just such a colorful world. I'm already a follower and would love to be included in the drawing for the stamp set.

I just wanted to say I find inspiration for a lot of my work from your blog. I am already a follower, of course, and my bundles will be delivered on MONDAY - WOO HOO. Not as much fun as going to convention, but at least I am getting the bundles. They said the give aways from convention may take SEVERAL weeks. It would be nice if they put them all in the same package, but that won't happen. I guess I will be getting two of this same stamp set, huh?
ReplyDeleteI too get inspiration from other blogs, and the CTMH BB's...which leads to blogs:) It's a vicious circle, lol! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI get inspiration from all of over the place, from blogs, to nature, to funny things kids say! As for following you, I already subscribe. You are a talented lady, and I get lots of inspiration from you! :-)
ReplyDeleteI do love blogs because it gives me a chance to explore many different styles. Love your beautiful artwork!
ReplyDeleteWooHoo! I love to win something ;-)
ReplyDeleteI was already signed up for your newsletter but am now also a follower.
I also am a CTMH consultant and have loved to be at the convention. Now I am waiting not so patiently to see some of the goodies and new catty ;-(
I find my inspiration as well from the CTMH "how to" books and cattys. Following fellow talented CTMH consultants helps alot too!!
I already get your newsletter and always look forward to seeing it in my mailbox....I thought I was already a follower....but I know that I am now. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou are always inspiring to me...you made me love flowers, and that's the truth! ;-)
Inspiration... hhhhmmmmmmmm???? yup, I am a lifter, I get my ideas from others. I put my own thoughts and twist into my works of art, but the original ideas are usually someone else's. I am a new CTMH consultant, but on a new stamper or scrapbooker and loving every minute of it. Thanks so much for sharing your "extra's".

My inspiration comes from others. I need a little "push" when it comes to creativity, so I get my help from others. I may use the colors they use or the layout or just even a stamp they may have used. I enjoy blogs and am attempting to get my own up and going. I am a new consultant and am loving it. Thanks for sharing your "extras" with us.

I think I just did a comment twice, sorry, I am new to this. You can post either and delete the other. I like them both. Sorry Brandi
ReplyDeleteLike so many of the others, I love going through all my favorite sites and seeing their artwork. I love to see sketches and how each person individualizes it to their style. I also love love love the idea books and really get inspired by them
ReplyDeleteI find my inspiration from all the incredible talented people out there in cyber land! I love my blog hopping it is where I get most of my ideas.
ReplyDeleteI get my inspiriation from others, books, sketches and sometimes just the photos I am scrapping!
ReplyDeleteI honestly get my inspiration from demo blogs, other stampers blogs and my stamping/scrapping friends. I get together with a group of gals, that help me with advice, ideas and inspiration.

Does following your blog in Google Reader count?
ReplyDeleteIf so, then I find inspiration in many sources - blogs, magazines, home dec stores, even from the ads on the sides of buses! I can't wait to see the new Idea Book in person. I imagine there will be tons of inspiration in those pages.
I find inspiration from the CTMH Website in the Art section and the Reflection etc books that Jeanette publishes, love them. From blogs especially when they post videos. thank you, Jaime jaimescraftroom@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI hope it's ok for fellow consultants to participate. I just joined CTMH as a consultant in May, and have never has so much creativity flow through me as I do now. I think that I have made about 15 full 2 page layouts.
ReplyDeleteMy girls are definitely what inspire me in every way. They inspire me to live and enjoy life everyday. And of course, their cute pictures make scrapbooking fun. I think that I have been so much better at scrapbooking since I joined CTMH, because they just make it soooo easy. Because everything is matched so perfectly, I just set the things in front of me, and the juices flow.
