Here is a fun project I have been working on for my daughter's class. I am the homeroom mom and therefore in charge of the class holiday parties. I like to hand out little treats and instead of candy, which I know all the kids will be giving out to their friends (my daughter included - you can see hers HERE), I wanted to do something different. These are little post-it note covers. Aren't they adorable?
I stamped the images and sentiment from PTI's Tiny Treats: Valentine. I just adore this set. I colored it in with my Copics and then used my Sakura clear gel pen on the heart to give it a raised, embossed look. I also stamped the background from Simple Valentine on the cardstock and used the Sakura glitter pen on some of the dots to add some glitz.
The patterend paper and cardstock is also PTI. I made the red for the boys and the pink for the girls. There are 19 in her class but I ended up making a lot more because once my friends saw what I was making, they commissioned me to make some for their children's classes too!
Oh my word these are fantastic! Not only will the children love love love these I know their moms and dads will too! Beth
