When I made my Ribbon Wreath for Christmas, I had this card in mind but I wasn't sure how I was going to get the ribbon to achieve and maintian the heart shape until "Nima" left me a comment. She had made some of the wreaths as ornaments and to keep their shape, she had inserted a thin wire through the back. This is exactly what I did here. (Thank you Nima!) After making the the ribbon strand (this time in pink), I inserted 24 gauge jewelry wire through the back BEFORE I formed the ribbon strand into a circle and tied off the ends. I then shaped it into a heart and attached it to the card with glue dots.
I stamped the image from PTI's Tiny Treats: Valentine stamp set onto white cardstock and then used a small Martha Stewart heart punch. The edges of the kraft and CTMH Bubblegum cardstock are sponged with PTI Fresh Snow ink and I used a new EK Success border punch.
I stamped white cardstock using PTI's Simple Valnetine stamp set and CTMH Bubblegum ink. I then pulled out my ever present Sakura glitter pen (which may have to be surgically removed from my hand) and added some glitz to a few of the dots. The ribbon is from the LSS.
