PTI - Blooming Button Bits
I was trying for a more masculine Valentines Day card and I'm not sure I achieved it but I like the end result anyway. I used kraft cardstock and inked the edges with PTI Fresh Snow ink.
The main image was stamped in Avocado and instead of using buttons, I used a Martha Stewart punch that has several different sized hearts. I also used a background stamp from the Background Basics: Hearts stamp set and did a tone-on-tone stamping in Pure Poppy and also inked those edges in white as well. The sentiment is from Everyday Button Bits.I used a nestabilities die to cut out the main image and an EK Success border punch. The twill tape is Martha Stewart.
We are going for a high of 51 degrees here in PA (break out the swimsuits) and both my husband and daughter are home for the MLK holiday so we are off for some family fun. I hope you enjoy the day!
Very pretty card - it may not have been what you were aiming to do - but it turned out beautifully anyway!!
