Do Me A Favor (Part I)
Thursday 3/19 Fee - $10.00

I have heard from many of you asking me how I make all those cute favors. Well here is your chance to learn my secrets. We will be making some of my favorite favors during this workshop. Bring along your Basic Tool Kit (adhesive, paper trimmer, scissors, pop dots) and I will supply the rest. This class is being offered at 2 times for your convenience.


Stamp Camp
Sunday 3/15 Fee - $5.00

Easter is just around the corner so “hop” on over for some stamping and crafting fun. The kids will get to use an adorable new stamp set for their Easter creations. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited and classes fill quickly, so email me to reserve your spot early!

Thank You Notes

As part of the birthday party I did, these are the "Thank You" notes I made up for the birthday girl. They follow the pink and brown theme of her party. I stamped the envelopes as well. I made the same card as a valentine for my in-laws. I just substituted the "thank you" with a clear embossed "Happy Valentine's Day" from the February Word Puzzle stamp set.

Class Valentines

My daughter and I made candy valentines for her class and some of her girlfriends. We used the All My Love stamp set for the toppers and she wrote her classmate's names in sparkle gel pen.

Valentine Card or Box?

Is this a card or a box? I made this little "card" with a hidden drawer as a Valentine for my daughter. I haven't decided what kind of candy to put in it yet. This was a really fun project to make and would also make a great favor. The pictures below show the "card" from several angles so you will hopefully get the idea of how it works.

First Swap

I participated in my very first swap this weekend at my CTMH unit meeting. My card was the one pictured HERE since Kanji Phrases and Aspiration are my favorite stamp sets from the current Idea Book. The following is what I received back so far and they are all so beautiful.

Beth's Card - The butterfly was embossed and colored on vellum.

Tammy's card - I love the color combination. It makes me want Spring to be here already.

Carolyn opted for an altered Crystal Light canister.

I love this idea and will have to "scraplift" in the future.

EEK A Mouse! - Stamp Camp Valentines

What do you get when you cross a mouse with Valentine's Day? A Valentine mouse of course! This month my Stamp Camp crew made this adorable little Hershey Kiss mouse with some glue dots, Baby Pink card stock, pom poms, google eyes and jewelry cording.

They then went on to make this Be Mine Valentine Card which also has a pop up heart on the inside (as seen in an earlier post). We used Baby Pink card stock, Tulip and Blush ink, February Word puzzle stamp set, and B&T from Amore.

This triangle treat box was the last project we made. It's made with Blush and Colonial White card stock, Tulip and Blush ink, Heartthrob and February Word Puzzle stamp sets and we used the Intrinsic Backgrounds stamp set to stamp on the puzzle piece which I had already painted using Ceramcoat Magnolia White. The girls filled the box with some candy and ate whatever didn't fit inside.

My 2:30 Stamp Camp class was another local Brownie Troop and I have to say they were some of the most polite, patient and crafty girls I have come across. Great job girls! I hope I will see some of them at future Stamp Camps.

A Brownie Valentine

Today I taught a class to some wonderful girls in a local Brownie Troop. They made a 3 x 3 Valentine card and a sour cream favor that we filled with Hershey Kisses. The card has a little surprise when you open it...a pop-up heart. The girls really enjoyed random stamping when making the favors and they all did a fantastic job!

Other – 1 ¼” circle punch, 1 ½” scallop punch, pink ribbon

Thursday will be my father-in-law's 81st birthday so I sent him this card. I used B&T paper from the It's a Guy Thing Level 2 paper packet, Cocoa cardstock and Cocoa ink, and the Cupcake Sprinkles stamp set with a little liquid applique and some glitter sprinkles.
