This weekend was
Winter Wonderland VSN (Virtual Stamp Night) over at SCS and although I couldn't play along live, I did get a chance to play on Sunday. One of the challenges was to create a miniature Winter Wonderland in the form of a snow globe. You only have 45 minutes to complete your card, so I set my timer and this is what I came up with.

I cut the "globe" using a circle nestabilities die and also used that die to trim my snow banks. I stamped the snowflakes in CTMH White Daisy and then went over them with Perfect Pearls. I also used Perfect Pearls on the tree and punched snowflakes to add shimmer. I ran the background through my cuttlebug using an impressabilities folder and then lightly sponged the same white ink over it to pop the impression a bit. I really like how this turned out. It reminds me of last year when my husband built a "luge" with the snow in our backyard and the neighbors came over and took turns sledding down. Of course, I was inside making hot chocolate.

Cibele, this is so pretty! Looks like like a little snow globe - I would have never been able to do this in 45 minutes! WOW! Love how you did the glitter on here too.
