Today is my daughter's first official horseshow. We have been at the barn for the last two weeks as she practices and practices so needless to say I haven't had too much time in the studio but I couldn't let her special day go by without making her a special card. She loves Flower Soft so I incoporated the Toffee Ultra Fine into the horse's mane.
The main image is from an Inkadinkado stamp set I picked up at Michaels. The sentiment is from PTI's Enjoy the Ride and the background is also PTI woodgrain impression plate and stamp set. The ticket is from a PTI die and matching Just the Ticket stamp set. To make the horseshoe, I covered a piece of cardstock with tin foil and then ran it through my cuttlebug with the die.She has worked so hard these past two weeks and no matter how she does today, I wanted her to know how proud we are of her. We told her to go out there, do her best and enjoy the ride. She has a special little surprise in the form of a mini chocolate dome cake waiting for her when she gets home. :)
Hi there, long time no see. I know you are busy, busy with an active young lady in the house. That card is so clever - all the little tricks from the Flower Soft to the tin foil horse shoe. Glad to see you are able to get into your scrap room on occasion and share with us.
