Digi Choosday - Last Minute Christmas

It's our final challenge for 2014 at Digi Choosday and the theme is Last Minute Christmas Gifts.

For my project I made a bottle tag and a little gift bag using paper, sentiments and the bow from the Festive Hollybobs Collection and from the pre-colored Winston Bear Celebrate from the Winston Deluxe Full Collection. This image is also available uncolored seperately HERE.

I printed several three of the bear images and cut out different parts of the bear and added some dimensional foam. I also added some glitter to their champagne glasses and to her pearls. On the gift bag, I added some stickles along the edges for added sparkle. You'll notice the bow was printed in two different sizes and then cut out and I added an added an adhesive-backed gem to the center for some holiday sparkle.

Be sure to check out the Digi Choosday Blog for more great ideas from the DT Team and to leave a link to your project for your chance at winning. We'll be back in the New Year with more great projects for you.

Digi Choosday - Sending Christmas Wshes

It's time for a new Digi Choosday Challenge at Polka Doodles and the theme is Christmas! I don't know about you, but it's one of my favorite times of the year and I am getting ready to send out my cards.

For my project, I used this cute little image from the Festive Hollybob Collection called Christmas Card. She's also available as a stand alone digi. I also used digital papers along with one of the ticket sentiments from the same collection. I then added some of my own snowflake embellishments cut from felt and a fun ribbon from my stash.

As usual, I colored her with my Copic markers and then added some Polar White Flower Soft to her hat and cuffs. I also added some glitter to mittens and her hat.

Please be sure to check out the Digi Choosday Blog to see what all the other talented ladies have to inspire you. You won't be disappointed!

Digi Choosday - Christmas Celebrations

It's time for a new challenge at Digi Choosday and the theme this time is Christmas Celebrations.

The first thing I thought was you can't have a celebration without inviting some people over and in order to do that, you are going to need invitations. Well, we have got you covered! These were so quick and easy to make. I made one for a Tree Trimming party and one for a Cookie Exchange - both popular parties this time of the year.

I used papers from the Festive Hollybobs Collection for both and then inserted a Text Box right on top, added my text and popped in my digi. For the Tree Trimming invite I used Santa (he's also available in the Festive Hollybob Collection colored and uncolored) and for the the Cookie Exchange I used Chef from the Work and Play 7 Collection (also available colored and uncolored). After I printed them, I colored them with my copics.

I then trimmed them down and mounted them onto cardstock and they are ready to be popped into the mail. These are easily mass produced, especially if you use the precolored images available in the collections.

Entered into the following challenges:
Card Mania - Use a Digi
Craftin Desert Divas - Christmas
Dream Valley Challenges - Anything Goes

Christmas Tags for Digi Choosday Presents

I am so happy to share the news with you that I am now a Design Team member on the Polka Doodle Digi Choosday DT. I hope you will join us each Tuesday as I and the other talented ladies on the team show you fun new ways to use digital images and papers from the Polka Doodles Shop. Each week we have a new challenge with a new theme and we hope you will join us by leaving a link to you project on the linky on the Digi Choosday Challenge Blog.

This week the challenge theme is presents so I chose to make gift tags that look like little presents. I used the digi papers and sentiments from the Work and Play Festive Hollybobs Collection. I printed the sentiment tickets and then cut them out and colored the little holly leaves and berries with Copic markers. I added a little bit of matching curling ribbon and a dimensional sticker from my stash. The finished cards are 3" x 3". These are easily mass produced and perfect to make with your leftover digi scraps.

Entered into the following Challenges:

Fun with Shapes and More - Christmas is Coming
Creative Card Crew - Stripes
