Happy New Year! I hope your celebrations were fun and you managed to stay up to see 2014 arrive.

I have a cute little Winter card to share with you today. I actually made this before Christmas but never got a chance to post it. I didn't use traditional Christmas colors on this one, instead I went with a garnet red and paired it with kraft. I really love this color combination.

The image is a digi from Tiddly Inks which I printed out and colored with copics. The large flower is a Prima and the smaller ones are actually white resin flowers I colored with my R59 copic marker. I added a twine bow with some jingle bells attached as my embellishment.

By the way, this is my new favorite hair color combination. I think that is because it reminds me so much of my daughter's hair color although she tends to have little more gold instead of the red. I think I was able to achieve a nice depth and richness. What do you think?
