Talk about non-traditional Christmas colors? My daughter has a friend who is very into skateboarding and when I saw this Tiddly Inks image, I knew it would be perfect for him. I asked my daughter what colors to use and she told me his favorite color was orange (so not Christmas-y) but I went with it.

I printed and colored the image with copics and then I went over the sunglasses with a clear glaze pen from Sakura. They look almost real! My daughter's instructions were to keep it clean and simple but it needed a little something, so I added some adhesive backed studs to the corners. By changing out the sentiment, this could be easily used as a masculine birthday or all occasion card.

She was really happy with how this turned out and is so excited to be exchanging gifts with him.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and got the things you wanted. I was sidelined with a sinus infection but thanks to my awesome mother-in-law, who made me some homemade chicken noodle soup, I am recovering.
