Flower Soft and Kool Tak Foil

This week, I needed a graduation card in a hurry so I went back to my CAS (clean and simple) roots and came up with this quick and easy one-layer card.

I simply used a die cut to cut the star shape from a Kool Tak Punch Sheet. It is a thin layer of adhesive with backing on both sides. I peeled off one side and then positioned in on my card. I stamped my sentiment and then using second generation stamping, stamped my "star trail" before peeling off the top. This worked perfectly to mask the area I didn't want stamped. I then laid a piece of silver foil on top of the star and burnished with my finger. After gently peeling off the foil, I was left with a bright and shiny star. I went over the "star trail" with my glitter pen for some added sparkle.

This card is perfect for mailing and it is has a fun texture.

I hope you will give these foils a try. They are super simple to work with and add a touch of glitz to any of your projects. Also, please be sure to check out the Flower Soft Blog and Facebook Page for more inspiration using Kool Tak products this week.

ETA: I am entering this card into the A.R.T. Anything Goes Challenge - a new challenge blog. I hope you'll check it out. Thanks for letting me know about it Cheryl!
