A Jar of Treasures

It's time for another Flower Soft Sprinkle Challenge!  This week you are challenged to add stitching to your project.  For me this was truly a challenge because the only thing I can sew is a button, and not very well.    Your stitching can be real or faux and you must also use at least one Flower Soft product.  Don't forget to upload your project to SCS using the keywords flowersoft and FSC34 so I can check out your artwork.  Now, onto my project.

I would love to take one more trip to the beach before school starts but since I don't know if we will be able to, I thought I would bring the beach to me in the form of this little card.  I used one of the Half & Half dies from PTI and stamped the striped image on it using CTMH Bamboo ink.  I then stamped the sentiment in Black.  I used a paper piercer to make holes along the top and then stitched with black baker's twine.  I also added a little of the twine through the button.

I then die cut and stamped the pint jar and used copics to color the image in.  For the final touch, I added a sprinkle of Flower Soft's Ultra Fine Sand to the bottom of the jar.

This card reminds me of being at the beach and collecting little "treasures" with my daughter, which makes me happy.  I hope your day is a happy one too.
