In Case You're Wondering...

I haven't had a lot of time in the studio lately and there are several reasons, all of them good.  This past Saturday, my daughter competed in her first horse show of the season.  The week leading up to it was just crazy.  When I pulled out her show clothes from last year which were big on her then, a lot of it didn't fit so I spent the better part of the week hunting down new duds.  Then there were the many days at the barn for show practice and then the night before getting the horses ready for show.  In the end it was all worth it because she did awesome and had great time on show day.  She got two ribbons and was ecstatic!

We are so proud of her and all the riders from out barn.  The first picture shows some of the ribbons won by the riders at our barn.

As for this week, it is the last full week of school which is always hectic.  I attended the end of the year school pool party for my daughter's class and field day.  This weekend is her dance recital and we have been preparing for that and getting the house in order for out-of-town family who will come for a visit (yay)!  In the middle of it, I took my Copic Certification class which was amazing!  So as you can see, not too much time left for the studio.   I know things will settle down next week and I can get back to some fun crafting time but I wanted to let you know where I have been, in case you were wondering...
