Sketch 185 - Mojo Monday

ETA:  YAY!  This card was one of the finalists for the Mojo Monday #185 Sketch Challenge.

This is my entry for today's Mojo Monday Sketch.  I am pushing myself to use color combinations that are not the norm for me to see what I can come up with.  I had ordered this paper from PTI and had yet to use it so I decided to dig it out and see what I could come up with.  Here is a picture of the sketch:

After I stamped my image, I outlined it using my Sakura glitter pen.  I also outlined around the embossed butterfly (Spellbinders).  Unfortunately this does not show up well in the picture but in person, it really adds some sparkle to the image as well as to the butterfly without being overpowering like glitter sometimes can be.

Instead of ribbon, I braided some purple twine.  I added three Royal Velvet buttons and some purple adhesive gems as the final embellishments.

The sentiment says it all as this card was a lot of fun to make.  I hope this Monday brought some joy into your life as well.
