Girly, You Rock


I made this card for my daughter. She was auditioning for a spot in a local singing talent show along the lines of The Voice and I wanted to give her a little encouragement and try to calm her nerves.

I didn't have a lot of time so I decided to go with a back and white theme and not color the image, except for the headphones. My daughter has a pair of red Beats that she got for Christmas so I colored them red and then added just a little glitter to the heart hairpin.

The piano is a die which attached to the side and then I stamped the sentiment.

I am happy to say that she aced her audition and will be competing with 39 other talented vocalists this summer. HERE is a link to her Facebook Page in case you are interested in following her journey.

    Cibele, this is just awesome!!! I LOVE IT!! So pretty and I'm really liking the no coloring except for the headphones. Love that piano die too. Sensational!
    I did take a peek on Facebook, not only at your beautiful daughter - but also her beautiful voice! You should be very proud!

    Woot! It is outstanding g! The red headphones are just enough. I think more might have detracted from the overall effect! Excellent work!
