Heartfelt Creations - Happy Birthday Beautiful

Happy Wednesday to you!  I hope where you are it's nice and dry.  As I write this post, we are preparing for Hurricane Sandy so by the time this post goes live, we may not have any electricity.

My project for this week is a birthday card using the beautiful Heartfelt Creations Vintage Floret patterned paper as my background.  I love using the decorated corners of the paper as a backdrop for my sentiment and in this case, for my flower.

Emma Lou did an awesome video on how to shape the flowers and you can find it HERE.  I added a little glitter to the ends of my petals and finished off the card with a crystal flourish.

On another note, I want to send out a big "Heartfelt" thank you to everyone who voted for me to remain on the Heartfelt Creations Design Team.  I am happy to report that I have been voted in for another term and I couldn't be happier.  I look forward to bringing you many more projects in the coming months using the fabulous stamps and dies from Heartfelt.

    This is absolutely gorgeous!! Love that big layered flower and the bits of glitter on it! I'm looking forward to being on the DT with you for another term. Hope you didn't have too much damage from the storm!
