Heartfelt Creations - My Wish

I have a fun card for you today.  I was playing around with some Mr. Huey's mist and watercolor paper and came up with this pretty background.

First I used versamark and stamped the pretty asters from this month's Heartfelt Creations Delicate Asters Collection onto watercolor paper. I used clear embossing powder and heat set the flowers. I then spritz some of the Mr. Huey's onto a craft sheet, diluted it with a little water and then painted it over my embossed images. I added a little diluted distress ink over the whole thing and got this really pretty color.  I kept the rest of the card fairly simple to show off the background.

If you would like the full instructions of how to make this card, please visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog.  You will also get to see the beautiful projects the other Design Team members have for you this week.

  1. Hi Cibele! I saw this on my lunch hour - but work frowns on "commenting" from work computers so I (fortunately) remembered to come back tonight! I LOVE this card!!! The ink is so rich looking!!! This is a technique that always blows me away, yet I don't do it often. You have inspired me once again! Excellent work!
    Hugs!
