Birthday Zipper

Here is a CAS birthday card I made for a dear friend using PTI's interactive zipper dies.  I also taught a variation of this card as a class last month and it was a big hit.

I stamped my base cardstock with Impression Obsessions Cover-a-Card Honeycomb and then embossed the yellow layer.  I used CTMH cardstock so I could sand over the raised dots to bring out the white core.  I used the Card Basics die for the inside to hold a Visa gift card.  This time I stamped the honeycomb pattern with matching ink on the yellow cardstock for a tone-on-tone look.

I have made several of these cards to have on hand because they are so easy and have a big impact.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets - IO Cover-a-Card Honeycomb; PTI Movers and Shakers
Paper - CTMH Buttercup; SS White
Ink - CTMH Buttercup; Versafine Black Onyx
Zipper dies, Card Basics die, flower and button
