Soaring Birthday

Today is my daughter's birthday!  She is an amazing little girl who is very smart, funny and beautiful.  She has a lot of dreams (didn't we all when we were young) and as her mom, I try to encourage her and let her make her own decisions (within reason).  She is growing into an awesome person and I am so proud to be a small part of that.

This brings me to the card I want to show you today.  I wanted something special for her birthday and she still loves my interactive cards.  She really liked the card I made for her friend so I decided to make her the same type of card.

For hers, I die cut the clouds using a sheet of scor-tape and added glitter.  I also used one of the new embossing folders I found on sale at ACMoore.  I used a brayer to ink the folder and then placed white cardstock in it and ran it through the cuttlebug. I die dut and stamped the air balloons and added some contrasting color using copic markers.

I simply love the way this came out and so did the birthday girl! Now we are off to have some birthday fun with her BFF.
