Happy Passover

Happy Easter everyone!  You may be wondering why I am showing you a Passover card today. Well, usually we travel to my husband's parents' house for Easter but this year my mother-in-law decided not to host.  This year, we were invited by a wonderful friend's house for Seder last night and I wanted to make her a card.

I used PTI's Mazel Tov set.  The colors are not quite showing up the way they look in real life.  The center cardstock is a light pink but isn't showing up accurately.  Anyway, you get the idea.  I stamped one of the images from Year of Flowers: Collection onto the top layer for some added interest.  The white cardstock was run through my cuttlebug with the Linen impression plate. I love the way this came out.

I also made a matching tag for the gift I was presenting to our hostess.  I used the same image on my card but placed it on a Tag Sale #2 die cut and used a little colored hemp to attach it to the bag.

We had an amazing Seder with some wonderful people and I am grateful for the experience and friendships. I hope that however you spend this weekend, it's with the people you love.
