Heartfelt Creations - Simply the Best

Happy Wednesday! I have two Heartfelt Creations projects to show you today.  Both of them use a technique where you can make paper look like leather.  I have a tutorial posted HERE with step-by-step instructions.

My first project is a tag.  After I made my "leather" paper, I stamped and die cut the hat an boot. I used some scor-tape to adhere three strands of twine that I twisted and knotted on the each end. I did a lot of sponging along the edges of my image and the tag for that worn look to compliment the leather.  This tag is perfect to add to a masculine gift bag.
My next project is a magnet.  Again, I used a Spellbinders die to cut a piece of the leather paper and to also cut a piece of chipboard.  To make the the horseshoe, I adhered a piece of aluminum foil to some chipboard and then die cut with the coordinating die from the My Guy Collection.

For full instructions on how to create these projects and to all see what the other Design Team members came up with, please visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog.  Thanks for stopping by.
