Happy Monday everyone! This weekend I spent no time in my studio because the mojo just wasn't there but I did do something fun. I read a book cover to cover! My daughter is playing softball this year for the first time, so my DH took her out to get some equipment and I was left home alone! My daughter wanted me to read the Hunger Games because she just finished it and said it "was the best book ever!" She also wants me to take her to the movie when it comes out at the end of this month. So that's the book I read and I have to admit that although I wouldn't go as far as saying it was the best book ever, it was very good.
Now back to my mojo. This morning I thought what better way to get back into the swing of things than to try a challenge so this card is for this week's CAS Challenge at Splitcoast to create a monogram card. I embossed the Mat Stack 2 die on the top and stamped the coordinating image and then my monogram. I then embossed the bottom with the Swiss Dots folder and added a little ribbon. That's it!
Now that the juices are flowing, I'm going back to my table and play around. Have an awesome day!

Looks like your mojo is great! Love the black and white and the way the monogram is framed out! Just lovely.

Cibele,
ReplyDeleteYou had me thinking that your Mojo was missing for this card - and clearly that is NOT the case! This is wonderful! I really need to figure out the right padding to make those pretty embossing places - that look is so elegant!
Hugs!
ps - you are a good Mom, reading a book your DD reads - it's so important to know what they're thinking (even just a little bit!) LOL
