PTI Pinterest Challenge

Today's challenge over at Papertrey Ink is to make a project using an inspiration photo you found on Pinterest.  This was right up my alley because I started my own inspiration board on Pinterest and below is one of the photos I pinned awhile ago.

When I first saw this photo, I had an idea of a card I wanted to do but I didn't have the time so I pinned it.  When I saw the challenge today, I decided to make the time.  I used the Garden Variety die to cut the watering can from Soft Stone cardstock and then I distressed it by stamping over it with the Impression Obsession Cover-a-Card: Scratches stamp in second generation Smokey Grey ink and then also used the Smokey Grey to distress around the edges.

To give the card the feel of the wooden bench, I used the Woodgrain Impression Plate on White cardstock and again aged it with the Smokey Grey ink.  My flowers were made using a punch and then spritzed with Bubblegum Glimmer Mist.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets - Birthday Basics
Paper - PTI SS White, Soft Stone, Raspberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst
Ink - Smokey Shadow, Versafine Black Onyx
Garden Variety die, Woodgrain impression plate, flower punch, Bubblegum Glimmer Mist, adhesive pearls

  3. Cibele,
This card is lovely. The wood grain in weathered gray is perfect for the image and I totally see the connection to your inspiration.
