This week marks PTI's 5th Anniversary and they are celebrating with daily contests and giveaways. Today, they have a free download of a sheet with images from each of the designers. The challenge was to use one of the images on a project. I chose Beth Silaika's image and I paired it with the TLC challenge at Splitcoast which is to create your own striped background. I cut strips of black and yellow cardstock and applied them to the card base on a diagonal and then I printed out the bee image and cut it out using the circle from PTI's limitless layers. The scalloped circle is also from the same die collection. I colored the bee with a copic marker and colored in the wings with my Sakura clear glitter gel pen. I then added some ribbon and popped the image up on foam dimensionals.
The prize package is incredible so if you have time, go on over and check it out.
