Dashing Through the Snow...

In the Meadow is not a set that I had even a remote intention of getting, but lying awake one night, I saw this card in my head and that was it....I was done.

This is such a fun set to play with and I am really liking the silhouette cards that can be created with it.  For this one, I first stamped the sentiment onto a piece of vellum and then ran it through my cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder to mimic snow.  I added chunky glitter to the tops of snowdrifts and cut out my silhouette pieces using the coordinating dies and some True Black cardstock.  Then it was super simple to assemble.

I'll have another one of these for you tomorrow if you'd care to check back.  In the meantime, have a fabulous day!

  3. Great idea to use embossed vellum for the background- it works so well. The silhouettes make it so striking as well.
