For my project I used the Christmas Nativity Pyramid card kit but instead of making a card, I decided to make it a luminary. I cut the tiny little windows out using a craft knife and I also cut some of the star out. To create the luminary, I left some edges on the card insert when I cut it out and used scor-tape to attach it to my pyramid front.
After I assembled the luminary, I added Sand and Toffee Ultra Fine Flower Soft to the sand dunes and added a little glitter around the star. I put a battery operated tealight inside for obvious reasons (lol). I'll give you one guess as to who claimed this when she saw the finished project.
It's hard to grasp how pretty this looks in pictures so here's a video to show you what it looks like when the lights are dim. The hand you see belongs to my lovely daughter who really wanted to help me with the video.
Remember to leave a comment on each blog to be eligible to win. Thanks for stopping by. Now you are off to the uber talented Jeanne Streiff's blog.
