Christmas Window

Happy Holidays from Flower Soft!  That's the theme for this week's Flower Soft Sprinkle Challenge (FSC17) at SCS.  I hope you'll join us and make some art and post it for a chance to win some prizes.

I first made a spring version of this card in April and was recently asked to make a Christmas version for a class I taught to a wonderful group of ladies at a local craft store.

I used the Flower Pot stamp set (not currently available) from CTMH and cut out the window and and stamped and cut out an extra pair of shutters.  I colored them with pencil and used dimensionals to pop them up.  I stamped the lamp from Welcome Home and used my Sakura glitter pen to add some glitter and make it look like the light was "on".  I dyed the lace for the "valance" using my Cranberry ink pad

The background paper is from the Creative Basics Mistletoe collection and I stamped the bricks from Around the Block in Cranberry ink.  I then added Vintage Christmas Flower Soft to the window box and also to the top edge of the sentiment stopper.  The sentiment is from Everlasting Life.  The branches are from a punch.

I hope you and your family will have a wonderful holiday and a happy and healthy New Year!
