A Manly Thank You

Since we moved into our home ten years ago, I have wanted my husband to install a screen door.  Well he finally got around to doing it and it has been a month long project that was way more involved than I thought.  In the process he also found some rotted out wood that had to be replaced and our neighbor was kind enough to help him out in a BIG way so we got him a Visa gift card that we tucked into this card I made.

The inspiration for the card came from one done by Maille Belles were she embossed PTI's Background Basics: Woodgrain onto blue cardstock with clear EP to mimic water.  Here I embossed it onto CTMH Indian Corn Blue.  The focal image is from PTI's Masculine Motifs.

I wasn't able to get a really good picture because my husband was in a hurry to get it to him but I am happy to report that upon receipt, the neighbor came over to personally thank me for what he called the "nicest card he had received in a long time".  He told me how much he appreciated that it was handmade and how much he really liked it.  Now that made my day!
